New Cooperation between Gál Ferenc University and the Central and Eastern European Recreation Society!

The aim is to support each other in the fields of health sciences, tourism, pedagogical training and research. The cooperation will include free recreational lifestyle club sessions open to the general public.

The signing ceremony was attended by:

- Prof. Dr. László Dux, Rector of the Gál Ferenc University
- Dr. Gábor Vincze, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Gál Ferenc University
- Dr habil. Péter Fritz, President of the Central and Eastern European Recreation Society

The aim of the agreement is to provide mutual support and to implement programmes and research to promote healthy lifestyles. Gál Ferenc University has a particular responsibility to improve the health and well-being of the inhabitants of the diocese, while KERT works in the multidisciplinary field of recreation, bringing together professionals and integrating the latest research findings.

KERT organises annual conferences and publishes a scientific magazine entitled "Recreation". In Szeged, regular lifestyle club meetings are organised, free of charge, with lectures, practical support and workshops. The aim of the recreation programmes is to provide useful, scientifically based activities for all ages of the population, offering physical and mental refreshment.
